Well, there is still a baseline for what the work you do is worth.
It’s easy for new VAs to struggle and confuse themselves over the pricing of their services because they feel like they don’t have enough experience under their belt or the skills to charge rates needed to make their business succeed.
You need to know that the services you are providing are valuable to the people in need.
Each task that you do has to be paid for fairly. After all, as a Virtual Assistant Business owner, you are considered an independent contractor. That means saving for and paying taxes!
So when you are setting your rates make sure you factor in the expenses for running your business and taxes.
The biggest reason not to undercharge is that your take-home rate must be enough for you to live off of, especially if you are planning to have your VA business be your main source of income.
